Guangdong's Lingshan forum science center launches

The launch ceremony of the Lingshan forum science center was recently held in Nansha district of Guangzhou, Guangdong province. Attendees included Wang Xi, deputy governor of Guangdong, Xu Dianhui, deputy secretary-general of the Guangdong Provincial Government, Gong Guoping, head of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, Lu Yixian, director of the Administrative Committee of the Nansha economic and technological development zone as well as relevant department leaders. 

The science center was jointly built by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, the Guangzhou Science and Technology Bureau and the administrative committee of the Nansha economic and technological development zone. It aims at promoting the integration of government, industry, universities and research institutes, inspiring vital technological innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and boosting the area's economic and social development. 

The center will take full advantage of the Greater Bay Area and promote international communication. It will enhance cooperation between the Greater Bay Area and scientists and scientific organizations around the world to build a strategic platform for international cooperation and fuel the construction of a first-class international technological innovation center.
