Richard John Roberts
Sir Richard John Roberts is an English biochemist and molecular biologist. He won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1993. He is the Chief Scientific Officer at New England Biolab and President of the Laureate Science Alliance.
Roberts was the first to discover the biological conversion of nucleic acid and many important enzyme products essential to the industry. He is the Chief Scientific Officer at New England Biolab, the most influential institution in molecular biology. The nuclease database he owns is one of the most complete biological databases in the world.
