Zhang Hongke
Zhang Hongke is an expert on communication and network technology and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is also a professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University, the director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Next Generation Internet Interconnection Equipment, and an IEEE Fellow.
Zhang has long been engaged in the research of special communication network theory and engineering technology. He has established a functional structure for network identification and an analytical mapping mechanismthat proved to be strong solutions to support high mobility and highly reliable transmission of the network under complex scenarios. He has also presided over the development of specialized network equipment and systems.
Zhang has won two second prizes of the National Technological Invention Award and four first prizes at the provincial and ministerial level. He was elected as a CAE member in 2021.
