Chen Xiaoming

Chen Xiaoming, is an inorganic chemist, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a fellow of the World Academy of Sciences, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Sun Yat-sen University and a director of the Key Laboratory of BioInorganic and Synthetic Chemistry of the Ministry of Education (Sun Yat-sen University).

In 1996, he received a sponsorship from the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, and in 1997 he was selected among the first and second level candidates of the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project.

Chen is mainly engaged in research of supramolecular chemistry and crystal engineering of complexes.
