Wang Junzhi
Wang Junzhi is an expert in biological products and biopharmaceutics, an academician of the CAE, chairman of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Academy of Food and Medicine Control, and the chief expert in biological product testing.
Wang received his master's degree in pharmacology from Lanzhou Medical College in 1985. In 1993, he received his doctoral degree in molecular pharmacology from the Medical Department of Mie University in Japan. From 2001 to 2010 he served as the deputy director of the National Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products. From 2010 to 2015, he served as the vice-president of the China Academy of Food and Medicine Control, and in 2019 he was elected as an academician of the CAE.
Wang is mainly engaged in scientific research and management of inspection and detection of pharmaceutical and biological products and in research on key technologies for the evaluation of biological medicines' quality.
