Seminar on major projects of BRI held in Beijing
The seminar on the major consulting projects of the BRI innovation and development was held in Beijing on March 12.
At the seminar were Bai Chunli, project leader and president of the Great Bay Science Forum and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS); Li Xinxin, a researcher of Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee; Ou Xiaoli, former director of the Social Department of the National Development and Reform Commission; Xu Zhiqiang, deputy director of the Expert Committee of the Silk Road Planning and Research Center of the CPPCC National Committee; Liu Weidong, deputy director of the Bureau of International Cooperation of CAS and a researcher of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of CAS, and Nie Xiaowei, a researcher of the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research of CAS and executive secretary-general of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum.

Nie reported on the progress and the plans for the major consulting projects of BRI innovation and development, and introduced the project research.

Bai made a concluding speech, saying that efforts should be made to further improve the research report, gather experts' wisdom and provide advice to promote the high-quality development under the BRI.
