Roundtable Session on Regional Development: Co-Building a New Ecosystem for Coordinated Development between China’s East and West

The implementation of the regional coordinated development strategy is a major strategic initiatives in the new era. It is the path to implementing the new development concept, constructing a new development pattern, and achieving China's modernization. The roundtable session brings together leaders from various provinces, regions, and sectors in both eastern and western parts of the country.

It focuses on topics such as regional innovation synergy, industrial integration, industrial chain alignment, regional economic linkage, and shared development. The forum pays attention to the new mechanisms and models of targeted support from China's eastern regions to its western regions, explores the shift from traditional assistance to fully exploiting the western regions' distinctive advantages in green, low-carbon, and sustainable development. The goal is to achieve economic and ecological win-win outcomes and to realize leapfrog development.
