Yan Xiyun

Professor Yan Xiyun is the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher of the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and director of the Laboratory of Nano Enzyme engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

She proposed the new concept of nanoenzymes which was included in textbooks and encyclopedias. Professor Yan has been selected as one of the top ten emerging technologies in IUPAC 2022. She is also the editor in chief of the English monograph "Nanophysiology". She established research methods and national/international standards for nanoenzyme terminology. 

Professor Yan invented various new nano enzyme technologies, and released the the world's first nano enzyme product in 2018. She received the second prize of the National Natural Science Award and the Atlas International Award. She was selected as a globally highly cited author in 2022. Only 2% of the world's top scientists received such honor.
