Chi Lifeng

Chi Lifeng is a professor at the Institute of Functional Nanoparticles and Soft Matter at Suzhou University. 

She obtained a bachelor's degree from the Department of Physics at Jilin University in 1982, a master's degree from the Department of Chemistry at Jilin University in 1985, and a doctoral degree from the University of Gottingen in Germany in 1989. In 2000, she obtained a professorship at the University of Minster in Germany. 

Professor Chi has engaged for a long-term in the research on surface interface molecular science and achieved systematic innovative results. In 2016, she won the ACS Nano Literature Award and the IUPAC Outstanding Women in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Award in 2017. She was also elected a foreign academician of the Academia Europaea in 2020 and the academician of the CAS in 2021.
