Fang Binxing

Fang Binxing is a senior chief scientist at China Electronics Corporation (CEC) and the director of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China. He is also the director of the National Engineering Research Center for Content Security Technologies and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Fang currently serves as the director of the department of New Networks at PengCheng Laboratory (PCL).

Previously, Fang held positions such as the president of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and the director of the National Computer Network and Information Security Management Center. He has received the first and second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Awards six times and provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards more than ten times. Fang has authored five books and published over 400 articles.
