Mao Junfa
Mao Junfa is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and has been serving as the president of Shenzhen University since February 2022. He received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Applied Physics at the National University of Defense Technology in 1985, his master's degree from the Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Research at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988, and his doctorate in Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1992. From May 1994 to August 1996, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of California, Berkeley.
Mao's research interests include high-speed circuit interconnects and RF electronic packaging. He has led several significant projects in the fields. He is a chief scientist of the National Basic Research Program (973 Program) and a project leader of the National Science Foundation for Creative Research Groups of China.

Two-second prizes for National Teaching Achievements.
Mao is also a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of The Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), where he serves as chairman of the committee of the Microwave branch of the CIE.
