Zhang Zhengyou
Zhang Zhengyou is an ACM fellow, IEEE fellow, and chief scientist at Tencent. He is director of the Tencent AI Lab and Tencent Robotics X Lab, and is a world-renowned expert in computer vision and multimedia technology.
He has made pioneering contributions in stereo vision, motion analysis, camera calibration, robot navigation, and immersive remote interaction. Zhang has published over 250 papers in top international conferences and journals, which have been cited more than 50,500 times, and holds nearly 200 patents.
In 2013, he received the IEEE Helmholtz Test-of-Time Award for his "Zhang's Camera Calibration Method", which was proposed in his article "Flexible Camera Calibration By Viewing a Plane From Unknown Orientations".
