Wang Yue

Wang Yue is director of Strategy and Planning for The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) China Program.

Wang holds a bachelor's degree in Forestry from Beijing Forestry University and a master's degree in Forestry Science from Yale University.

From 2003-2004, Wang worked as a research assistant at the Yunnan Biodiversity and Traditional Knowledge Research Association. In 2007, she joined TNC and participated in the Yunnan National Park Project. From 2009 to 2013, she served as the TNC's Yunnan Program Director, accumulating rich experience in national park policy and management, as well as community development. From 2014 to 2017, she dedicated herself to expanding TNC's new projects and new fields in China. She helped develop such projects as the Heqing Caohai Social Conservation Area Project, the Shenzhen Sponge City Project, and the China Marine Conservation Project. Since 2018, as the director of Conservation Planning and Strategy, she has assisted project teams in formulating conservation plans and strategies and has been in charge of marine projects.
