Wang Yuyi
Wang Yuyi is deputy director of the Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center (FECO) of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Wang holds a doctoral degree and is a senior engineer. She has been awarded the Shanghai Cooperation Organization 20th Anniversary Medal and serves as the Chinese secretary of the Ecological Council of the China-Russia Friendship, Peace, and Development Committee.
Her main research areas include international cooperation planning in environmental protection, trans-boundary environmental issues, information technology construction, desertification control and ecological restoration, and water pollution control.
As the technical lead, she has drafted over 10 international cooperation initiatives, regional development strategies, and action plans, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ecological Environmental Innovation Base, which provides decision-making support for China's participation in regional and multilateral environmental governance and cooperation. She has also applied for, and implemented various international and national research projects, including the Asian Regional Special Cooperation Fund, the United Nations Environment Program-China Trust Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Ministry of Science and Technology's National Key Research and Development Program. She has published over 10 articles in SCI, EI, and Chinese core journals and has led or participated in the compilation of nearly 20 works.
