Wei Chang
Wei Chang is the chief technology officer of Midea Group and a member of the National Carbon Neutrality Science and Technology Expert Committee. Wei previously served as the president of the National Institute of Clean-and-Low-Carbon Energy (NICE) and the technical director of the Global Research Center at General Electric (GE).
His main research areas include low-carbon clean energy, water treatment, and new materials. He has received awards such as the GE Gold Invention Award, Scientific Chinese of the Year, and the Ram Charan Management Practice Excellence Award from Harvard Business Review. He has published over 30 academic papers and holds more than 40 patents.
