Xu Jianling

Xu Jianling, president, deputy secretary of the Party committee, researcher, and doctoral supervisor of Shenzhen Polytechnic. Xu is also a member of the 7th Education Committee of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Xu focuses on the management of higher vocational education management, and university teaching and courses. He has published the monograph Collegiate Involvement Instruction — Theoretical Discussion and System Construction, the book Problems and Solutions — Higher Education Theoretical Research and Practical Exploration (co-authored with Yang Yiyi and Zhang Xiangyun), and over 30 papers in core journals of education, such as Educational Research, Journal of Higher Education, and Curriculum, Teaching Material and Method, of which five papers have been fully reprinted by China Social Science Excellence. He has won the first prize in the Second Outstanding Paper Award of Higher Education Research of the Guangdong Institute of Higher Education, the second prize in the Wu Hanliang Award for Outstanding Achievement in Science Research of Higher Education Management in Guangdong Province, and the third prize in the Third Outstanding Achievement Award of Social Sciences in Shenzhen.
