Zhang Dongmei

Zhang Dongmei is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the College of Pharmacy, Jinan University. She is a young top-notch talent of the "Ten Thousand Talents Program", a New Century Excellent Talents awardee by the Ministry of Education, and a Guangdong Provincial Outstanding Youth.

She serves as the vice-chairman of the Guangdong Pharmacological Society, a council member of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, and an editorial board member of Drug Resis Updates and other journals. She has presided over more than 10 National Major New Drug Development projects and National Natural Science Foundation projects.

As the corresponding author, she has published more than 50 SCI papers in journals such as Gut and J Clin Invest. She has been granted 13 international invention patents and 12 Chinese invention patents, with seven of them already being commercialized. She has also led the development of a new anti-tumor drug.
