Cheng Yating

Cheng Yating is the vice-president of Guangzhou Kingmed Diagnostics Group and the vice-dean of the Kingmed School of Laboratory Medicine at Guangzhou Medical University. Cheng holds a master's degree in analytical chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University.

Cheng Yating is actively involved in various medicine-related committees. She is a member of the Laboratory Medicine Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, the 11th Committee of the Laboratory Medicine Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, and the 7th Committee of the Medical Science Research Management Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association. Furthermore, she serves as the vice-president and secretary-general of the Guangdong Women's Federation of Science and Technology Workers.

Cheng Yating has undertaken more than 10 provincial and municipal-level scientific research projects, published 34 academic papers, and contributed to the development of six standards/consensuses/guidelines. She holds 17 authorized invention patents. Cheng has also been awarded second prize in the 9th Guangdong Provincial Education and Teaching Achievement Award (Higher Education), honored as the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent of Haizhu District in 2017", and received the First Prize of the 2019 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
