Feng Yadong

Feng Yadong is deputy secretary-general of China Advanced Semiconductor Industry Innovation Alliance (CASA), vice president of Jiangsu Research Institute of NCTIAS and vice chairman of the Professional Committee of Industry Education Integration of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy (CSEDS).

Feng has actively participated in the formulation of the government's development plans for wide-bandgap semiconductor and LED technology and industry during the 12th Five Year Plan (2011-15), 13th Five Year Plan (2016-20), and 14th Five Year Plan (2021-25). He has led the organization and implementation of the first batch of national science and technology service industry pilot projects.

Feng has also played a leading role in the formulation and implementation of the "Lighting the Belt and Road Action Plan". Under his guidance, a joint innovation laboratory for China-Malaysia semiconductor lighting technology has been established. He has been instrumental in developing the talent training system for the wide-bandgap semiconductor industry. Additionally, he has organized the compilation and publication of various books, including the Advanced Semiconductor Industry Talent Development Guide, LED Industry Skilled Talent Development Guide, and the wide-bandgap semiconductor series, contributing to the advancement of the semiconductor industry.
