Lou Xinchou

Lou Xinchou is a researcher at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Lou was selected as a well-known overseas scholar by the CAS and a national distinguished expert. He serves as the director of the High Energy Platform at the CAS Center for Excellence in Particle Physics, and project manager of the Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC).

Lou is involved in the design, key and novel technology research, planning, and development of the future CEPC. He is primarily engaged in the study of the Higgs boson and the search for new physics through the ATLAS international collaboration experiment. Additionally, he conducts research on, the search for and study of new hadrons, as well as investigating strong interaction mechanisms and properties within the BESIII experiment. He is also involved in research on particle production in positron-electron annihilation processes.
