Cong Lixian
Cong Lixian is the dean of the Intellectual Property School at East China University of Political Science and Law. He holds a doctorate in Law from Wuhan University and has completed post-doctoral studies at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is a visiting scholar at the University of Washington School of Law in the United States.
He serves as an executive member of the China Intellectual Property Law Association, China Society of Private International Law (CSPIL), and China Law Association on Science &Technology. He is also the vice-president of the Intellectual Property Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society.
Cong is recognized as a distinguished talent by the Ministry of Education, a leading figure in the field of intellectual property rights in China, and an expert in the national intellectual property expert database.
He has published three academic monographs, co-authored over ten books, and published more than 100 research papers. He has led over 40 research projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation and ministries including the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance. He has received over 30 research awards, including the Philosophy and Social Sciences Award and the Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award.
His main research areas are intellectual property law, international civil and commercial dispute resolution, and internet rule of law.
