Liu Yunjie
Liu Yunjie is an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering and currently serves as the director and chief scientist of the Purple Mountain Laboratories. Liu was previously the chief scientist of the "Future Internet Architecture and Mechanism for Service-Oriented Internet", which is a 973 Program project. He has received numerous awards, including one first prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award and two first prizes of science and technology progress awards at the ministerial level. He was honored with the 2014 Chinese Internet Annual Figure Special Contribution Award and the 2018 CCBN Academic Contribution Award. As one of the key founders of ChinaNet, Liu was recognized by Time magazine as one of the global top 50 digital heroes.
Currently, he is leading the construction of China's first national major scientific and technological infrastructure in the field of communication and information, the China Environment for Network Innovation-Future Network Test Infrastructure Platform (CENI-HEFEI) project.
