Liang Dong

Liang Dong is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a recipient of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund from NSFC. Currently, he serves as the director of the Research Center for Medical AI at SIAT and director of the Laboratory of Medical Imaging Technology and Equipment Engineering at CAS.

His main research interests lie in machine learning, compressive sensing, and their applications in biomedical imaging. Liang has led several research projects, including the major research plan for NSFC Tianyuan Fund and many key R&D programs at national and provincial levels. He has published over 100 papers in international academic journals and serves as an editorial board member for authoritative journals in the field, such as IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging.

He has received first prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
