2023 Greater Bay Area forum advances tech, social cooperation

On Dec 28, the much-anticipated 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Nansha) Social Organization Cooperation Forum was held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). 

The forum, themed around technological innovation and collaboration among social organizations, attracted numerous experts and scholars from government departments, enterprises, universities, and research institutions.

The Secretariat of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum actively participated in the forum, with its Executive Secretary-General, Nie Xiaowei, delivering a keynote report titled "The Power of Social Organizations in Technological Innovation." Nie emphasized the crucial role of technological innovation in driving economic transformation and upgrading and highlighted the indispensable role of social organizations in promoting the conversion and industrialization of scientific achievements.

During the forum, the Secretariat of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with various social organizations and enterprises, jointly promoting the coordinated development of technological innovation and social organizations in the Greater Bay Area.

This forum deepened the exchange and collaboration between social organizations and provided new ideas and platforms for technological innovation and social development in the Greater Bay Area.
