GSF deepens collaboration with Tengchong Scientists' Forum

A delegation from Yunnan Provincial Academy of Science and Technology (YAST), led by Li Changyou, deputy Party secretary of YAST, with scientists from Tengchong Scientists Forum, visited the Greater Bay Area Science Forum (GSF) secretariat. 

Officials from the Nansha Development Zone and representatives of the GSF warmly welcomed the delegation. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on forum development and cooperation mechanisms and emphasized the need to strengthen collaboration in resources and talent.

At the close of the discussions, Li conveyed gratitude for the international perspective and cutting-edge scientific work showcased at the GSF. He cordially extended an invitation to the forum for the 2024 Tengchong Science Award Forum. Both parties affirmed their dedication to bolstering cross-regional and inter-forum collaboration, aiming to propel China's scientific pursuits forward.

The delegation also toured the Nansha Urban Planning Exhibition Center and the GSF's permanent venue, gaining insights into the forum's influence, regional planning, and venue operation.

The GSF aims to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Tengchong Scientists' Forum in the future, exploring new collaborative models to advance China's scientific development jointly.
