Bai Chunli advocates integration of education, scientific research
The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) recently held its 10th-anniversary conference. The event featured keynote speakers who discussed building an international higher education hub and cultivating innovative talents for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Attendees were encouraged to focus on innovation and internationalization and to explore new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to create a dynamic higher education landscape in the region.
Professor Bai Chunli, chairman of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) and president of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum, attended and emphasized the integration of education and scientific research.
He stressed the need to construct an international higher education hub to nurture more outstanding innovative and entrepreneurial talents for the economic and social development of the Greater Bay Area.
Bai also highlighted the necessity of cultivating talent with innovation and research capabilities to serve economic and social development.
