As the Greater Bay Area Science Forum (GSF) will take place from Nov 16 to 18, a sub-forum on International Organizations and Bay Area Dialogue was held in Hong Kong on Nov 12 to leverage Hong Kong's role as a "super-connector" and promote international scientific cooperation.

Co-hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions, the sub-forum was themed on "scientific and technological innovation for synergistic development."

Representatives from countries and regions participating the Belt and Road Initiative and various bay areas worldwide, as well as domestic scientists, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders, were invited to participate in discussions centered around international scientific collaboration, focusing on biomedicine, artificial intelligence and green energy.

Leveraging Hong Kong's role as a "super-connector," the forum aims to deepen international scientific cooperation through dialogue, thereby advancing industrial transformation and technological revolution and ultimately turning the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into an international hub for scientific innovation.
