Greater Bay Area Science Forum 2024 to spotlight brain science and AI advancements
The 2024 Greater Bay Area Science Forum, themed "Open Science, Lead the Wave," is set to take place from Nov 16 to 18 across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. With an array of 14 sub-forums and five special events, the forum aims to foster international scientific collaboration, drive technological innovation, and explore emerging fields in science.
A highlight of this year's event is the Brain Science and Brain-Inspired Intelligence Technology Sub-Forum, scheduled for Nov 18 at the University of Macao. Hosted by the Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology, University of Macao, and other leading organizations, the sub-forum will focus on pioneering research in brain science and artificial intelligence under the theme of exploring the Brain and Intelligence and inspiring the Future.
Topics of discussion will include neurobiology, brain-inspired intelligence, AI, cognitive psychology, brain-computer interfaces, and neuromodulation.
