Greater Bay Area Science Forum 2024 to boost innovation in electric aviation
The 2024 Greater Bay Area Science Forum, a key event promoting future technology, is set to take place from Nov 16 to 18 across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. This year's forum, organized by the Guangdong provincial government and supported by ANSO, emphasizes breakthroughs in smart industries and low-altitude economic development.
A notable segment, the Electric Aviation and Intelligent Manufacturing Sub-Forum, will be held on Nov 16 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Hosted by Shensi Lab and supported by Shenzhen's Qianhai Authority and other organizations, the sub-forum will bring together experts to discuss advancements in electric aviation and strategies for sustainable, high-quality development in the Greater Bay Area.
Highlights of the agenda include discussions on breakthroughs in electric aviation technology, industry-university collaborations, and strategic approaches for economic growth in the low-altitude sector. Additionally, the Greater Bay Area Electric Aviation and Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Alliance will be launched to strengthen the industry ecosystem, enhancing collaboration across the industry.
Industry leaders such as Chinese Academy of Engineering members Yang Fengtian and Xiang Jinwu, and BYD Chief Scientist Lian Yubo, will share insights on the latest technologies and trends in the field.
With a roundtable dialogue on "Electric Aviation Leading New Transformation," the forum aims to foster green aviation innovation, automation, and intelligent manufacturing, supporting the Greater Bay Area’s efforts to shape a vibrant low-altitude economy.
