As part of the 2024 Greater Bay Area Science Forum, a two-day technology transfer conference will be held on Nov 17-18 at the Nansha International Convention Center in Guangzhou.

Co-organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, and the Guangzhou branch of CAS, the event aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and industrial applications.

With the theme of seizing the technological high ground and empowering new productive forces, the conference will focus on six key areas: information technology, advanced manufacturing, new energy, new materials, biomedicine, and aerospace. Over 50 CAS institutes will showcase their latest research findings and explore potential collaborations with Guangdong enterprises.

Through a series of activities including exhibitions, roadshows, and matchmaking sessions, the conference will facilitate technology transfer and promote innovation. Key highlights include connecting businesses with researchers to address specific technological needs, and the demonstration of the latest breakthroughs from top Chinese scientific institutions, while fostering partnerships between academia and industry.

The conference will provide a platform for researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to discuss the latest trends in science and technology, and explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
