Greater Bay Area Science Forum 2024 fosters innovation, collaboration

The Greater Bay Area Science Forum 2024, held from Nov 16 to 18, brought together leading scientists and researchers from around the world to discuss cutting-edge advancements and foster collaboration across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Under the theme of leading through open science, the forum highlighted the importance of international cooperation in scientific research. Discussions centered on groundbreaking technologies, emerging industries, and the future of innovation.

Co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangdong province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Macao Special Administrative Region, the event underscored the commitment of these entities to driving scientific progress in the region. By fostering a vibrant ecosystem for innovation, the forum aims to position the Greater Bay Area as a global hub for scientific discovery.
