Green energy innovation highlighted at Greater Bay Area Science Forum

The Greater Bay Area Science Forum's Green Energy Industry Innovation Sub-Forum was held on Nov 15-16 at Hailing island, Yangjiang, a city in China’s southern Guangdong province. Focused on "technological innovation and new productive force in green energy," this event aligned Yangjiang's green energy expertise with global trends.

Over 70 renowned experts, 170 company representatives, and local government officials attended. Keynote speakers, including several academicians, discussed urban low-carbon development, green hydrogen technology, and wind energy advancements. Special sessions like the Maritime Silk Road Dialogue addressed global green energy challenges and opportunities.

The forum also saw the inauguration of the Green Energy Industry Innovation Hub and the release of the "Yangjiang Initiative," emphasizing green development, technological innovation, and international cooperation. These initiatives reflect Yangjiang's commitment to furthering green energy advancements and contributing to sustainable development.

Yangjiang's efforts align with the "dual carbon" strategy, enhancing global collaboration and solidifying its role as a leader in green energy. The city's initiatives promise a bright future for green innovation and sustainable growth.
