On April 8, Wang Xiang, from the Secretariat of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum, led a delegation to Guangzhou Mingxian Experimental Senior High School, forging a partnership to empower young innovators through integrated science-education programs.

Principal Ning Bin and Secretary Wang Lili of the school outlined its vision for establishing the "Mingxian Young Scientists Academy", proposing joint initiatives in technological practice programs, innovation exchanges, and talent development.

Set to open in late 2025, the school showcased its world-class facilities, including an NBA-certified basketball arena and Olympic-standard athletic track. Its strategic location in the region’s innovation hub supports partnerships with leading domestic universities and global institutions.

The institution emphasizes ethical education alongside technological excellence, adopting a holistic development philosophy that blends project-based learning with humanistic values. The partnership is poised to strengthen its vision to become a globally recognized science-focused high school.

This cooperation aligns with the talent development objectives of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, establishing new models for interdisciplinary education. Both sides have committed to advancing science and technology innovation in order to nurture and inspire future leaders in the scientific field.
