Brain Science, Brain-Inspired AI Sub-forum held in Macao
On Dec 9, the Greater Bay Area Science Forum Sub-forum of Brain Science and Brain-Inspired Intelligence Technology was held at Macao University of Science and Technology.

The event, co-organized by the Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology, Macao University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese Society for Neuroscience, drew more than 300 experts, scholars, industry leaders, and students from around the world, with all discussions held in English.
The forum explored various advanced fields, including neurobiology, artificial intelligence, and brain-computer interfaces. Experts from institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, the University of Macau, and Shanghai NeuroXess Technology presented 11 detailed talks in English. A poster session featured 47 high-quality displays focusing on recent progress in neural circuits, brain-inspired computing, and intelligent healthcare, highlighting the innovative efforts of young researchers.
This sub-forum presented the latest advances in brain science and brain-inspired AI in the Greater Bay Area and across the country. It also fostered dialogue and collaboration between academia and industry, injecting new momentum into the development of an open regional innovation ecosystem and promoting the growth of brain science in China.
